Our Covid-19 Full Operational Risk Assessment for the re-opening of schools has been updated detailing how we plan to keep everyone safe, following government guidance.  Unfortunately, this means restricting the number of visitors into school.

On 14 June 2021, The Prime Minister announced that he was not able to say that we have met all four tests for proceeding with Step 4 of the 'roadmap out of lockdown' and thinks it is sensible to wait just a little longer before easing restrictions. This will give time for the vaccination programme to protect people from the virus in light of the new variant.

Schools have been advised to keep the current protective measures in place until there is a further announcement on Step 4 of the roadmap.  These measures will remain in place to help reduce transmission of the virus.

The Local Authority has issued a letter to encourage families to continue twice weekly testing.

If you need to speak to any member of staff, please contact the school office or email enquiries@carterhatchjunelt.org. The school office will mainly be accessible via phone and email only. Visitors permitted into the school will follow our guidance for parents
